Cheryl Verheyden

MA, RCC, SEP

Hi, I’m Cheryl!

We all face various challenges that can impact our ability to connect with others, feel safe within ourselves, and be fully present in our lives. I am passionate about helping people uncover their unique personal strengths, heal their nervous systems, connect with their intuition, increase creativity, and move toward a more fulfilling and peaceful life as their authentic selves.

My approach to counselling is collaborative and flexible to suit the needs of each individual client, drawing on training and wisdom from Somatic Experiencing, Expressive Arts Therapy, Mindfulness, Attachment Theory, and Attachment-Focused EMDR.

My practice is rooted in a belief that we all have an inherent capacity to heal and grow, and that you are the expert in your own life.
